Reflexologists work these points to bring balance. It also provides a time to relax and can be used alongside standard healthcare to promote wellbeing. It should however never be used as an alternative to seeking medical advice

The Benefits of Reflexology

What is reflexology?

After a long career working with and supporting homeless people and families I moved to Skegness and was trying to decide what I wanted to do. I wanted to find my vocation and passion. I had reflexology in the past when I was trying to get pregnant and loved it. And purely by chance I had my eureka moment when I was giving a foot massage

After a long career working with and supporting homeless people and families I moved to Skegness and was trying to decide what I wanted to do. I wanted to find my vocation and passion. I had reflexology in the past when I was trying to get pregnant and loved it. And purely by chance I had my eureka moment when I was giving a foot massage to a former boyfriend. He felt a tingling in his neck and I thought..ahh reflexology. I did my research and found not all courses were equal so I enrolled on a years course at the AOR accredited Caritas school in Nottingham. My tutor Debbie Holler was just amazing and the course involved not just the written learning but more than 100 practice hours and 3 practical exams. I also had the joy of learning with and treating the most amazing group of ladies who were my class mates and friends for life. I Qualified in April 2023 and became a full member of the AOR

Reflexology during Pregnancy

Reflexology during pregnancy particularly interests me and I have gained maternity experience with my two beautiful pregnant clients. I'm so looking forward to meeting their babies in August. I will be looking to complete more training in this area and in reflexology for fertility.
